Timothy Shannon

Classical guitar for ceremony, cocktail hour and/or reception.

Guitarist Timothy J. Shannon currently studies with Joanne Castellani, as he pursues his Master of Music in Guitar Performance at the State University of New York at Buffalo.

He recently completed his Bachelor of Professional Studies in Guitar Performance from SUNY Empire State College, where he integrated coursework from Nazareth College in Rochester and The Eastman School of Music.

He has also studied with Matthew Ardizzone, Timothy Schmidt, Rick Falkenstein, and taken master classes with Christopher Parkening, Nicholas Goluses, Raphaella Smits, Edward Flower, Sharon Isbin, and the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet.

He teaches at Roberts Wesleyan College, and has given private lessons since 1980.
A member of the Guitar Foundation of America, Timothy Shannon regularly performs both solo and chamber music.
